A three-member peer team of the National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC) visited the BJB Autonomous College for assessment which commenced from November 10 to 12.
The three member team comprised eminent educationists former VC of Babasaheb Ambedkar University, New Delhi and NAAC Chairman Prof AK Singh, Prof BBl Das and Prof VB Hiremath.
The team examined the existing infrastructure, academic ambience, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities and took stock of the achievements of the students and research activities of the faculties. They also assessed all the departments of the college, facilities available and the logistics as extended by the academic and administrative wings of the college. They also interacted with the students, parents and alumni.
Principal Mohmmad Nawaz Hassan and Vice-Principal Dr Rita Pati, NAAC coordinator from BJB College Dr Tushar Tripathy facilitated the programme.
Notably, the NAAC team of HRD Ministry has visited for assessment of the BJB after a gap of 12 years.
