A 20-year-old youth committed suicide at Badamasigam village in Nabarangpur district following him tested Covid-19 positive on Tuesday.The deceased was identified as Narendra Bisoi.
Sources said Narendra along with his friends had undergone RT-PCR test at the Sanamasigam Community Health Centre (CHC). As Narendra’s reports came out positive, the health staffs informed him about it and asked him to remain in isolation.
Hearing this, Narendra got distressed and. later in the evening; he went to his house and consumed pesticide. Though his family members rushed him to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) here, doctors declared him brought dead.
