Mystery shrouded the death of a woman and her two children whose bodies were recovered from their house at Kapani village under Belapada block of the district on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Sunita Rana, her seven-year-old daughter lisa and two-year-old son lokesh.
Sources said the bodies were found hanging in their house. The incident occurred when Sunita’s husband had gone to forest to collect firewood.
“Everything was all right till the morning; and we had breakfast together. But when I returned, my wife and children were found hanging. My wife was mentally unstable,” said Sunita’s husband Bhikari Rana.
