Mystery still continues over Odisha’s Pravash Ranjan Samal, who was kidnapped by the ISIS in libya and was reportedly released.
In reply to an email from an Odia TV channel, the Indian Embassy at Tripoli informed on Tuesday that they have received information about the conditional release of Samal by the ISIS.
However, the embassy also stated that they have no information of Samal’s whereabouts.
Notably, Samal was abducted by ISIS militants in libya on September 16 while later his family members informed that he had been released on the condition that he would continue to work in a hospital in that war-torn country.
