Kandhamal BJD MP Hemendra Singh has been admitted to a hospital here following severe chest pain and breathing difficulty. Sources said Singh suffered a stroke on Saturday last. He is under treatment at the AMRI Hospital here.
The condition of Singh, who is now on a ventilator, is stated to be stable although not out of danger, the sources added. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Health Minister Atanu Sabysachi Nayak visited the hospital on Monday to inquire about Singh’s health condition and treatment.
