Tension built up at a cinema hall here on Saturday evening when a group of persons burnt the poster of an English movie meant for adults only.
Police said at least eight to 10 activists of a political outfit stormed into the campus of a cinema hall where the posters of the movie were displayed. Claiming the posters were highly objectionable and obscene, the activists pulled down them asking the cinema hall staff not to display the same again in public. The local Madhupatna police said that by the time they arrived at the spot, the activists had left and no case has been registered in this matter.
