Utkal Bharat president Kharabela Swain on Friday said he and a section of former Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leaders are mulling to form a political outfit to work as a front against the BJD.
Swain told reporters here that the proposed front is likely to take shape in a fortnight and would have in its fold the disgraced BJD leaders Baijayant Panda, Damodar Rout and Braja Kishore Tripathy.
He said parleys are on among these leaders to chalk out a strategy to fight the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD.
If necessary, the proposed front would enter into some kind of an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). However, under no circumstances would the front have any truck with the Congress, Swain stated.
