Members of the Odisha Rajya Nigam Karmachari Mahasangha have alleged that some people are trying to shut down their organisation. But they would never succeed in dissolving it, said Mahasangha president Muktikanta Mohapatra and secretary general Sudeep Narayan Mohanty.
The Mahasangha, in a Press release, said the Mahasangha was registered with the Government with number 612/1997. According to the constitution of the Mahasangha, election for two-year terms of office-bearers was held on December 16, 2015. The office-bearers are now working in their respective positions.
Mohapatra informed that some defeated candidates organised a meeting and tried to motivate others against the Mahasangha. He has urged all the Mahasangha members of the State not to be influenced by the words of the defeated candidates.
