The Crime Branch on Friday produced fake notification and Government fund bungling accused suspended Factories and Boilers Assistant Director Dr Motilal Gauda before a city court on completion of four-day remand. While the CB didn’t apply for a fresh remand, Gauda was sent to Jharpada Jail, according to sources.
Meanwhile, the Vigilance, which is also probing allegation of amassment of disprortionate assets, has applied to the court to take Gauda on a 7-day demand.
It may be noted that Gauda has been arrested on the charge of issuing a fake Government notification to industries to get their employees check up health in certain nursing homes empaneled by him. For this, he had allegedly taken kickback of Rs 1 crore from them.
