Rains and thundershowers would occur at most places in the State and some places in north Odisha are likely to get heavy rainfalls during the next 24 hours, the local Met Centre said on Wednesday.
The Met office said a low pressure area may form over Northwest Bay of Bengal and Neighbourhood during next 48 hours under the influence of a cyclonic circulation extending between 5.8 and 7.6 km above sea level lies over Northwest Bay of Bengal.
