The Meteorological Centre here on Monday predicted that rains or thundershowers would occur at many places in the State during the next 24 hours while heavy rainfalls may occur at one or two places over interior Odisha. The Met office said the rainfalls would decrease after 24 hours.
A Met office release stated that Sunday’s low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Odisha lay over coastal Odisha and neighbourhood at 8.30 hours on Monday.
