BJP senior leader Bijay Mohapatra on Saturday said more leaders from other parties would join his party in future like former Chief Minister Giridhar Gamang from Congress.
“The leaders, who are frustrated and suffocated in their party for being neglected, will join us in future. Most of the leaders know that the BJP has good prospects in Odisha,” said Mohapatra, adding any leader seeking to join the BJP is most welcome.
Party leaders attending a core group meeting held in the State BJP office here said they would go to the people to make them aware about the Modi-led BJP Government’s achievements, schemes and agendas for the common people.
Party’s Odisha-in-charge Arun Singh said people like the Modi-Government and his policies directed towards welfare of the country. The growing popularity of the Modi Government has been prompting several leaders and people to join the party, he added.
In the core group meeting, the leaders discussed about different issues to counter the BJD Government in the State. They also made a plan to reach out to every people to inform them about the success story of the BJP Government in the Centre.
