The Baleswar Zilla Swasthya Samiti (ZSS) reviewed various projects and made plans for the district at its governing body meeting held here on Friday.
MlAs, Zilla Parishad president and members, PRI members and doctors attended the meeting. It was decided to form a sub-committee to collect rents from the medicine store owners who have taken shops on rent since 2009.
It was decided to make provision of generators at all CHCs, to install x-ray machines in Bhograi and GK Bhattar hospitals, to provide more stretchers, wheel chairs and battery-driven vehicles and a blood bank to the GK Bhattar Hospital, to construct a postmortem centre at Hathigarh and to increase beds in DHH and CHCs.
