The Special Task Force (STF) of Crime Branch on Wednesday seized more properties of notorious and most wanted ganja mafia Anil Pandi. The seized property worth Rs 25 lakh included two SUVs.
“In continuation to financial investigation in STF PS Case No 29/2021, further properties worth Rs 25 lakh (Two vehicles one Mahindra Bolero Plus and another Mahindra XUV 500 R FWD), owned by Anil Kumar Pandi of village Chhachina under Kodala police station in Ganjam district, which were acquired from illegal ganja business have been identified and seized,” the STF said.
The agency has requested the competent authority and administrator of NDPS Act, Kolkata, for forfeiture of the illegally acquired property.
Earlier, the STF had seized ganja around 10 quintals, one truck and other incriminating materials on August 13, 2021.
Notably, Pandi is one of the most wanted drug traffickers with involvement in 11 NDPS cases in Gujarat.
