A youth was arrested and forwarded to court on the complaint of none other than his mother on Saturday in Gajapati district.
The accused, indentified as Muna Pradhan of Sidhamadang village under Kasinagar block of the district, was a habitual drunkard and was regularly causing nuisance at home under the impact of liquor. As per FIR by her mother Phula Pradhan, Muna would return home at night having taken wine and scold and beat the family members, including his two sisters.
Paralakhemundi police had registered a case.
