Senior BJP leaders and Union Ministers will propagate the achievements of the Modi Government and convince the masses in the State that if the BJP comes to power in Odisha, the same model of development will be replicated in the State.

The National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) is organising the event that includes various attractive programmes. Other than generating awareness among people by means of exhibition, information kiosks and quiz shows, people will be taught about mobile app downloading process and their views and comments will also be collected.

However, opposition parties BJD and Congress slammed the move saying it is sheer misutilisation of public funds.

BJD spokesperson Amar Satpathy said that by organising the event the BJP Government is misutilising the public sector units (PSUs) funds.

Congress leader Ganeswar Behera said the BJP is trying to hide its loopholes and making a mountain out of a molehill. However, the truth would be definitely revealed soon.

Interestingly, no State Government officials attended the festival. The Khordha Collector, who had been invited to the Bhubaneswar programme, did not turn up.
