The much-hyped MODI Fest (Making of Developed India Festival) in Mayurbhanj was inaugurated here by the BJP district unit on Tuesday.
The inauguration ceremony was held in front of the local Sahid Smruti Bhavan and a vehicle carrying a large screen depicting the achievements of the BJP-led Union Government was flagged off by the party district president Dr Krushna Chandra Mohapatra.
The vehicle will move throughout the district on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. And then, for the next three days, i.e. on June 16, 17 and 18, the MODI FEST will be organised. Different cultural programmes will also be a part of the extravaganza. The aim will be to educate the Mayurbhanj people on the achievements and various pro-poor programmes of the Modi Government.
