BJP heavyweights will again hit the election campaign trail in Odisha. This was informed by BJP State vice-president Golak Mohapatra at a Press meet here on Sunday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party national president JP Nadda will visit the State on different days to address public rallies.
Mohapatra said Modi would visit on May 20 and go to Puri, where he would hold a road show in the morning. This would be his second road show in the State during the ongoing elections after the one held at Bhubaneswar on May 10.
Moreover, Modi would address two public meetings at Angul and Cuttack.
Mohapatra informed that Amit Shah would come to Odisha on May 15 and address public meetings covering three Parliamentary constituencies, Rourkela (Sundargarh), Kantabanji (Balangir) and Sorada (Aska).
Shah’s visit would be followed by Nadda’s tour on May 17. Nadda would address public meetings at Sundargarh, Hinjili and Padampur.
Training his gun at Naveen Patnaik, Mohapatra said, “Here is a Chief Minister who is aptly called as a ‘video Chief Minister’ as he is available to people through video. Our Prime Minister said: The Chief Minister is unable to say names of villages and districts on his own.”
