In aftermath of the Fani, Chief Secretary AP Padhi flagged off a mobile ATM here for Puri district on Tuesday.
Padhi said the mobile ATM would provide cash withdrawal facility in all remote rural areas in Puri district.
As of now, all the banks in the district have reopened. Around 40 per cent of the ATMs are also functioning.”
The State Cooperative Bank has sent 15 mobile ATMs and other banks like HDFC, UCO and SBI have deployed 25 mobile ATMs in the district.
