Students who have applied for admissions in Plus II streams can now take advantage of the mobile app “DHE Odisha” specifically developed for them to know the status of their selection without any hesitation.The Mobile App can be downloaded from the Google play store(https://play.google.com/store/searchIJq=dhe%20odisha). The facility is currently developed for the Android phone only.Once downloaded, the students are required to fill in their registered money receipt-cum-index number and get their selection status instantly; after the result which was officially declared on the website (www.dheodisha.gov.in) on July 1 at 11 am.
The applicants can see cut-off marks, key dates, and seats available in the desired colleges and important announcements made by the Higher Education Department.As many as 3, 82,593 students have applied for 4,41,220 seats in 1,512 junior colleges in the State. Odisha is the only State in the country to have a centralised admission procedure to the entire junior and degree colleges.
