It seems troubled times are ahead for Khandapada BJD MlA Anubhav Patnaik as his younger sister staged a dharna in front of his house on Sunday demanding share in ancestral properties. Abantika, who had a love marriage against the wishes of her family, has reportedly a property dispute with her brother. She said she would continue her dharna till the matter is resolved. “I have the legal rights over the properties of my father and I demand my share. I have discussed the issue with my mother. I have staged the sit-in since morning and will continue till the matter is resolved,” said Abantika.
“I had taken the matter to court in 2008-09 but was unable to take forward the case due to financial difficulties,” she added.
However, Anubhav in his reaction said his sister would be given her share in the property and the issue would be solved amicably.
