During recent visit to Brajrajnagar, Union Coal Secretary Susheel Kumar discussed with local MlA Radharani Panda on many issues.
During discussion, Kumar assured to convert MCl’s Central Hospital into Super Specialty Hospital very soon. MlA Panda also invited the attention of the Coal Secretary about poor developmental work by the MCl using the periphery fund.
In a memorandum to the Coal Secretary, the MlA requested to open a Trauma Care Centre in the Central Hospital along with ICU dialysis provision and improve health service through PPP mode. She further urged to shift Orient Coal Siding to some other place.
The memorandum also stated opening of a Delhi Public School up to Class 12 to which the Coal Secretary said that a direction has been given to the Ib Valley and the Orient CGM to take help of the district administration in identifying 10 acres land for the Delhi Public School.
The MlA requested Kumar to engage the CISF personnel to check coal pilferage being rampant in the locality. In the presence of MCl CMD AK Jha and other senior officials, MlA Panda proposed to organise a national level women footbal tournament at Belpahad, which was instantly agreed upon by the MCl. Similarly, there was a discussion for setting up a sports academy in the region.
Panda told the mediapersons that the implementation of the proposals will certainly help eradicating unemployment problem to a great extent, besides improving education and health related issues.
