Polasara BJD MlA Srikant Sahu refuted the Nagarika Sangha’s accusation that he had provided false information regarding his educational qualification in his election affidavit.
“I had mentioned Class X (apper) as my qualification in the election affidavit. When it was mentioned in the Assembly website that my qualification is Class X (pass), I soon wrote to the Assembly Secretary to rectify the same,” said Sahu.
Srikant Sahu said the Nagarika Sangha has made this charge after being jealous of his popularity.
“I am very much with the people. A conspiracy has been hatched to defame me,” he said.
When asked whether he would file a defamation case, Sahu said, “Those people are not of my level. Hence, I don’t file any case.”
