Local MLA K Narayan Rao has written a letter to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to launch a direct train service between Paralakhemundi and Bhubaneswar.
As people from Paralakhemundi are going frequently to Bhubaneswar over official and business works, so the train that is running between Palasa to Bhubaneswar may be extended to Paralakhemundi, said Rao in his letter. Extension of the 08433 and 08434 up and down trains between Bhubaneswar and Palasa to Paralakhemundi will benefit the residents of Paralakhemundi immensely, he added.
