MlA lays stones for J'suguda roads

Jharsuguda MlA Naba Kishore Das on Sunday laid foundation-stones of three road projects, repair Sodhamal-Vimjor road with an estimated cost of `8.5 crore, construction of Marakuta to Tihadipali road (`50.5 crore) and Kartikela to Brundamal (`3.5 crore) in the district. The projects will be executed by the Public Works department.

Das addressing a huge gathering said the new projects will give new impetus and considerably improve the overall socioeconomic development index of the area through mutual exchange of goods and services.

“Better roads act as magnet and provide the basic lifeline to attract further development and welfare,” said Das.

Among others, Jharsuguda district Congress president BS Pati, vice president P Padhai, general secretary Sidharth Sarkar were present during the ceremony.
