District Congress President and local MlA Naba Kishore Das on Thursday laid foundation stone for beautification of Jharsuguda’s Bombay Chowk.
Under the beautification programme, the Chowk would be decorated with light and sprinkling water as per the information given by the National Highway Authority.
The project would be funded by the Mahanadi Coal
Fields limited (MCl) and to be executed by the R and B wing of State PWD.
Addressing the public gathering, Das said, “We are committed for the development of the district. Heart care hospital, new modern bus stand, 300 bedded NRHM hospital, stadium and sports complex are the part of development.”
Congress senior leaders, Bharat Awasthy, Raghunandan Padhi and Sidharth Sarkar were present among others.
