Three more BJD leaders, including Bhubaneswar (Central) MLA Ananta Nayayan Jena, have tested positive for Covid-19.
Jena’s test report came out positive on Thursday. He is on home quarantine and his condition is stable. He informed this in his Twitter handle.
Jena too requested people, who have come in contact with him recently, to isolate themselves and get the Covid test done.
On Wednesday, swab reports of Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) Chairperson and BJD general secretary Srimayee Mishra and Odisha Small Industries Corporation Chairperson Chinmoy Kumar Sahoo came out positive.
Mishra also informed about her infection and her condition as stable on Twitter.
With this, eight BJD leaders, including Rural Development, Labour and Employees’ State Insurance Minister Sushant Singh, have been infected with the virus.
Khandapada MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, Polasara MLA Srikant Sahu, Remuna MLA Sudhanshu Shekhar Parida and Salepur MLA Prasant Behera are other BJD leaders to have contacted the virus.
