A man who had gone missing was found hanging from a tree in the Singhijuba Reserve Forest under the Binika police station in Subarnapur district.
The deceased was identified as Mangulu Bhuye (45) of Saraguna village in the area.
Locals initially spotted the body and informed the family members. The body, which has been decomposed, was sent by cops for postmortem. The reason behind the death was yet to be ascertained. Kin of the deceased said he went missing a few days ago.
On the other hand, police have registered an unnatural death case into the incident and started an investigation to ascertain the circumstances which led to the death.
