HR Assistant Professor of SOA University Dr Soumya Mishra’s book Management Psychology was launched last week by Governor Dr SC Jamir at the Raj Bhavan here. The book focuses on the application of psychology in promoting business management.
The Alumni of the Utkal University, who organised the book release function, discussed with the Governor about revival of the first centre of advanced study in psychology which has been withdrawn by the UGC. It requested him to give special permission to retired professors to regular service for teaching and guiding doctoral research. The alumni also gave emphasis on making the library Wi-Fi to promote research activities.
The Governor assured them to consider the issues and take necessary steps. Alumni convener Dr PK Mishra coordinated the meeting. Among others, Dr Chintamani Mishra, Dr Rashmi Mishra and Bhabani Patnaik were present.
