lila Nand Mishra on Monday assumed the charge of Director (Personnel) at the Mahanadi Coalfields limited (MCl), a mining subsidiary of the Maharatna Coal India ltd.
Mishra, who took over as the fifth Director (Personnel) of the company, was accompanied by his predecessor PC Panigrahi. Company
CMD Anil Kumar Jha congratulated Mishra and wished him luck for the new assignment.
Mishra, a post-graduate from the XISS Ranchi with over 30 years of experience in coal industry, had joined the Coal India at Dhanbad-based subsidiary Bharat Coking Coal ltd (BCCl) in 1983 and was transferred to the Coal India Headquarters in Kolkata in 2012.
Mishra said, “I would focus on creating a motivated human resource for the company to meet the future challenges in the industry and sustainable growth would be my major areas.”
Notably, the MCl plans to increase its production to 250 million tonne by 2020.
