At least three miscreants allegedly looted over Rs 30,000 from cash counter of a petrol pump station on NH-16 under the Soro police station on Thursday.
Reportedly, the miscreants had come to the fuel station for petrol filling in their bike following which a heated argument took place with a staff of the station which escalated subsequently.
The miscreants soon attacked the staff of the petrol pump, broke the glass window of the office and looted cash before decamping from the spot.
Two petrol pump workers suffered injuries in the attack and were sent to a nearby hospital in Soro for medical treatment.
On getting information, the Soro police arrived at the spot and initiated a probe into the matter while the whole incident remains trapped in CCTV.
