A minor girl was allegedly kidnapped and gangraped by four men at Ratakhandi under the Bisra police limits in Rourkela city on Thursday evening.
According to reports, the shocking incident took place when the victim was returning home from a neighbour’s house. The accused four abducted the girl and took her to a nearby forest, where they allegedly raped her.
A complaint in this regard was lodged at the Bisra police station, following which the four were arrested. The police started investigation into the incident registering a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The girl was sent for medical examination, police sources said.
