The parents of a girl have alleged sexual misconduct of a teacher against their minor daughter in a school in Paralakhemundi town.
The parents alleged that the girl was forced to remove her clothes in front of other students and teachers.
“After hearing the incident, we were mentally disturbed. Our child is no more willing to continue to study in the school and we request the Gajapati District Child Protect Unit, Child Welfare Committee, Gajapati Education Department and Gajapati District Administration to take stringent action against the school authorities and the accused teacher,” they said, adding that they have already filed a written complaint with the District Child Protection Office.
Meanwhile, school Principal Manoj Kumar said the matter would be investigated and action would be taken against the accused.
