The Plant Site police here arrested four persons, including a minor boy and produced them to court on Wednesday for allegedly gangraping a divorcee woman.
The woman aged around 30 years residing in Vedvyas area here had taken loan from another woman, Butu Swain, who resides in Gopabandhu Palli area here.
As per the FIR, the victim had gone to Swain’s house on Tuesday evening to give interest amount of the loan. But four youths in the house raped her one after another. The victim lodged the FIR at the Plant Site police station on Wednesday.
Three accused were identified as Ajay Yadav (21), Pankaj Shah (20), Subham Tiwari (24). The police produced the minor accused to juvenile court. Investigation is on into the incident, said Rourkela DSP Ramesh Pangrahi.
