Ministers and the Chief Secretary on Tuesday visited some underdeveloped districts and reviewed various Government projects which are underway.
While Pachayati Raj Minister Arun Sahoo, Tourism and Culture Minister Ashok Chandra Panda and Housing and Urban Development Minister visited Nabarangpur, Chief Secretary AP Padhi toured to Kandhamal on a two-day visit. On the first day, Padhi reviewed power, water supply, communication and education activeities.
The three Ministers advised the Nabarangapur district Collector to expedite works of the ongoing projects.
Similarly, Health and Family Welfare Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak paid a surprise visit to the Angul District Headquarters Hospital. He was astonished to see that some doctors were absent. He met some patients and interacted with them about their treatment.
