: In a Press meet, the district level Combined Ministerial Officers Association lamented that despite their agitation with some genuine demands, the State Government has been ignoring them.
Their main demand inter alia is to enhance the entry level scale of pay of district level ministerial employees from level-4 to level-9 according to the ORSP Rule, 2017. While the Government has already enhanced the entry level qualification from Plus II to graduation with computer knowledge vide Odisha Gazette Resolution No. 27367 dated 29-11-2017, it is not enhancing the pay scale, the association said.
Association chairmen Debendranath Patra, convenor Subrat Kumar Mohanty, advisor Ganesh Nayak, Binod Kumar Mohanty, Biswanath Barik and Saroj Kumar Patra among others were present. They warned of resorting to mass leave if the Government does not listen to them.
