One Shibaji Patra (30) working as a mechanic in AMTC, Narayanposi, a private mines under Koira mining circle of Sundargarh district was killed after being run over by a truck inside the mine recently.
It is alleged that after the accident he died due to excessive blood profusion but in order to avoid public attention, on the pretext of treatment, his body was brought to Tata Steel hospital at Joda.
However, when mediapersons asked about the incident to Director Mines Safety, Chaibasa Region, Satish Kumar who had come attend the preparatory meeting of 56th Annual Mines Safety meeting at Joda on Wednesday, he said the case would be probed.
