Minister and Jharsuguda MLA Naba Kisore Das has directed officials to finish the ground and construction works of the proposed mega stadium here to make it ready for the upcoming Ranji Trophy Cricket Match in 2023.
The technical team of the Odisha Cricket Association is now camping here to supervise the infrastructure requirements and suggest further development of the stadium.
A meeting was held here between the district Collector and representatives of the cricket association, during which Minister Das directed to complete the stadium construction by 2022 and assured to extend all possible assistance on behalf of the State Government.
Collector Saroj Kumar Samal informed the meeting about the arrangements and progress of the construction works.
