As per the direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Housing and Urban Development Minister Pratap Jena turned up at an Aahar centre here and had the Rs 5 noon meal there on Monday.
During his surprise visit to Dhenkanal town for a review of various projects, the Minister visited the Aahar centre to check the quality of food served at the facility. Pictures taken at the centre show the Minister standing at the counter asking for food and later having rice and Dalma sitting alongside common people.
Earlier in the day, Jena had gone to the Municipality office and reviewed various projects in the presence of Director of Municipal Administration Sangramjit Nayak.
