Odisha Jan Morcha (OJM) vice-president and former Bhubaneswar Mayor Mihir Mohanty and party general secretary Bhagirathi Kar joined the BJD Sunday.
They joined the BJD at its headquarters here in the presence of BJD president Naveen Patnaik, who welcomed them to the party.
BJD vice-president Kalpataru Das and all the three BJD MlAs of Bhubaneswar were also present on the occasion.
OJM secretary general Jagneswar Babu said the OJM would be least affected by such desertions and that the party was aware of their plans to jump sides just before the elections.
