The cold wave continued to grip the entire State with the mercury dipping below 12 degree Celsius in several stations on Sunday morning. Daringbadi recorded the lowest of 7.5 degrees Celsius followed by Phulbani 9.3 degrees and Sonepur 9.8 degrees C. As per Regional Office of the IMD here, four more places recorded minimum temperatures below 12 degree. They included Baleswar 11.3 degree, Angul 10 degree, Keonjhargarh 10.8 degree, Sundargarh 11 degree and Titilagarh 11.1 degree.
The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 15.1degree and 13.5, respectively.
The minimum temperature also plummeted in other parts. While Chandbali recorded 14.4 degree, Paradip 16.5, Puri 15.6, Baripada 12.6, Jharsuguda 13.6, Sambalpur 12.4, Hirakud 13.5, Talcher 13, Bhawanipatna 13, Balangir 14 and Koraput 12 degree.
