On the Dasaha (10th day of death) of lalatendu (lulu) Bidyadhar Mohapatra, more than a hundred youths shaved their heads at Ramghata near the Hanuman Temple here on Tuesday.
On the Ekadasaha (11th day of death) on Wednesday, the lulu Mohapatra Memorial Committee held a meeting at Zero Point, IOCl Road.
Followers of Mohapatra distributed fruits and sweets to the patients at the Biju Memorial Hospital and the Kujang Medical. The memorial meeting was presided over by Odisha Congress Sevadal organising Secretary Ashok Kumar Nath.
The invited guests were Nabin Kumar Das, Baba Pitambar Das. Baba Bhabgrahi Das, Kahnu Maity, Rabindra Kumar Swain, Mata lilibala Das, Madhusudan Mishra and Kailash Chandra Barik, who spoke about the life, achievements and dedication of lulu Mohapatra. Hundreds of lulu’s followers were present and they promised to fulfil the aim of lulubhai.
