CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the laitara Mega lift Irrigation Project at Kesinga in Kalahandi district on Saturday. A public meeting held at the Joleka playground at Kesinga was too attended by Housing and Urban Development Minister Pushpendra Singh Deo, MP Arkakeshari Deo, MP Bhupinder Singh and MlAs Anam Nayak, Balabhadra Majhi, Dibyashankar Mishra and Dhaneswar Majhi.
later, the Chief Minister flew to Kuchinda in Sambalpur district where he laid foundations stone for a megalift project, which would irrigate 13,000 hectares of land. A public meeting organised for this purpose at Saida was attended by Government Chief Whip in the State Assembly Rohit Pujari, MP Nagendra Pradhan and MlAs Rabinarayan Nayak, Ramesh Patua and Dr Raseshwari Panigrhai among others.
