NOCCi, Team Odisha to host event at world-class venue
The North Odisha Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NOCCi) in association with “Team Odisha”, State Government, would organise a mega international fair, Plast Future East-2014 on plastics and polymers from November 7 to 9 at the new world-class exhibition and convention venue, Balasore International Expo Centre (BIEX) in the NOCCi Business Park at Bampada, Baleswar. The BIEX is a new infrastructure built with facilities for holding trade fairs, exhibitions and conventions at Baleswar, almost in the centre of three State capitals Bhubaneswar, Kolkata and Ranchi and many other economic hubs such as Jamshedpur and Kharagpur.
The BIEX has a 40,000 sq-ft air-conditioned exhibition hall to accommodate 150 octa-norm stalls of nine-sq-meter area each. In addition, it has ample open area to park vehicles and arrange open air exhibitions. The facilities available at the BIEX include star rated accommodation, recreation, cottage industry exposition and open air theatre and modern office facility. Exhibitors and visitors can also get F&B services, banking, freight forwarding, courier and travel services all under one roof in the park.
NOCCi convener Amit Behera said the exhibition is aimed to create a platform for corporate, policymakers, business partners and technology providers to come together and discuss the key issues and challenges pertaining to the polymer sector in the country. It would showcase Odisha, especially Baleswar and Paradip plastic parks for investment before the global community.
Big raw material suppliers, machine manufacturers, technology providers are being approached to sponsor and to promote the industry in eastern India. local industries, processors, buyers of finished goods, additives and chemical manufacturers, machinery manufacturers, potential entrepreneurs, bankers and consultants would showcase their products in the exhibition. Every day 1,000 visitors are expected to throng exhibition from across the country and neighboring counties.
