A workshop on sexual harassment at workplace was held at the Regional Telecom Training Centre (RTTC) here on Monday.
Addressing the participants, RTTC Principal PK Sahoo opined that there should be a safe and congenial atmosphere at workplace to get best out of employees. He urged everyone to adhere to the Supreme Court guidelines on this sensitive issue of sexual harassment.
BSNl GM (HR) AK Pahi elaborated on the working conditions of the BSNl employees and steps taken to prevent any such occurrences. Similarly, DGM (HR) N Das urged the participants to stick to 'zero tolerance' in this sensitive issue.
Dr P Yasodhara of Niswass, Bhubaneswar and Kalpana Mahapatra from the CYSD joined the workshop as facilitators. Circle Office Sexual Committee Chairman M Ray detailed the incidents happened at BSNl and steps taken to redress it.
