The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) organised a workshop on “Career Opportunities for Finance Leaders of Tomorrow” at the DAV School of Business Management (DSBM) campus here on Friday.
ACCA India Business Development Head Kush Ahuja and Regional Head (North & East India) Krishan Mishra attended as guests.
On the occasion, Ahuja handed over the Silver Learning Partner Status on behalf of ACCA to DSMB Principal Dr DN Mishra. Mishra said it was also a proud moment for the DSBM to be the one and only institution in the State to be the partner of the ACCA.
Ahuja highlighted about various career prospectivethat students have in today’s date to excel their career as finance professionals. “Being an ACCA qualified, a student boosts-up his/her career, as ACCA is taking multi-disciplinary strides in an international level to shape the future of accountancy & business”, he quoted.
Mishra discussed about different qualifications of ACCA that a student can take up and laid stress on numerous ways of passing those exams in a flexible manner.
Dr Mishra spoke about three main issues: Merits of digital and hard-copy of books, availability of vast digital information in respective domain areas and employability skills.
