In order to promote digital marketing in the MSMEs, handicrafts and handloom sectors, a workshop has been scheduled to be held here on Friday at the Nocci Business Park.
For the purpose, a preparatory meeting was held at the residence of district Collector. Presiding over the meeting, Collector Pramod Das said the event would witness participation of about 2,000 members from Baleswar, Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj districts. Besides MSME entrepreneurs, producers of handicrafts and handloom products, SHG representatives would be participating in it.
The participants would be informed about the scope of e-marketing and how they can avail the facilities so that they can market their products globally in a hassle-free manner. The willing participants can register their names in their respective District Industries Centres and local industry bodies.
Jharsuguda DIC General Manager P Prabhakar Rao has been appointed by the State Government to oversee the arrangements and ensure success of the workshop, informed Das.
Top-level officials of Baleswar district were present at the preparatory meeting.
