The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI), Bhubaneswar Chapter organised a seminar on “Indian Accounting Standard (Ind AS- 115) (Revenue from Contracts) and Ind AS-116 (Leases)” here on Sunday.
Balmer Lawrie & Co Ltd, Kolkata senior vice-president (Audit, Accounts and Taxation) Mrityunjay Acharjee attended as guest. In the meeting, discussions were held on the emerging trend of financial reporting in line with global standards, i,e., Ind AS 116 and Ind AS 115 which would have great impact on financial reporting and disclosures.
Chapter chairman Saktidhar Singh, secretary Himoj Mishra and Professional Development Committee chairman Mukesh Chaubey and more than 150 CMAs were present in the programme.
