A roundtable discussion holds among State Government and civil society organisations of Odisha to find ways to implement Nationally Determined Contribution (NDCs) in Odisha held.
The discussion was organised by RCDC in collaboration with AIDMI, Ahmadabad. Aurobinda Behera and Mihir Bhatta were the chief speakers. Kailash Dash of RCDC, Ambika Prasad Nanda of Tata Steel, and representatives of OXFAM, CCF, OSDMA, UNDP, WaterAid, Practical Action, Climate Parliament and a few local agencies also joined and suggested for implementation of NDC in Odisha.
The discussion aims at making Odisha lead in taking climate compatible measures in India. It explored the ways how Odisha could lead in implementation of the NDCs of India committed in Paris Agreement with focus on its citizens and climate.
