Sheer will power and iron determination has made him extraordinary and different from others. Meet the 35 -year-old Pramod Nayak, popularly known as Jatia Nana of Gualigaon under Rajkanika block. He is a well known comedian, cock dance artisan and a stunt man all rolled into one. He can pull people riding bike, car and tractor by his hair lock.The far flung rustic person, Pramod alias Jatia Nana, hogged the limelight for his extraordinary power of dragging bike, car and tractor by his hair lock.
According to Jatia Nana, he has not learnt any technique; neither has he undergone training for such stunts. He can pull three people riding a bike, four people boarded a car or a tractor to at least for 200 metre at ease on his hair by tying rope on his hair.
About a decade back while he was performing a dance programme, a co-artist hanged on his hair lock. Then he decided to try his luck to pull bike with people by his hair. Since then he has started practicing to pull vehicles. "I think it's the blessings of my parents and my sheer will power that I have been able to do such extraordinary stunts," stated Pramod, who has been eking out his living by opening a tiffin stall at Haripur market. Pramod also has worked as a comedian in Konark opera troupe and also in Maa Tarini troupe and won accolades. "I have a dream to register my name in Guinness Book of World Records by pulling heavier vehicles like bus and truck by my hair," said Pramod.
